AUTO INSURANCE
It is important to shop auto insurance for the best quote. If you able to wrap or combine two or more types of insurances – you will save money. Here is the coverage in basic auto insurance:
Bodily Injury Liability – this is required in most states and covers you if you are sued due to an accident.
Personal injury Protection – this covers the driver and the passenger of the policyholder’s car. This can cover medical expenses, lost wages and funeral coverage.
Property damage liability – This pays for any damage that is caused to others property included other vehicles, lamp posts, street signs, buildings, etc.
Collision – This is usually sold with a deductible ranging from $250 - $1000. The higher the deductible the lower the premium. This pays for damage done to your vehicle resulting from a collision.
Comprehensive – This coverage pays for damage done to your vehicle other than collision with another vehicle such as theft, fallen objects, collision with an animal.
Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage – This will cover you if you are hit by an underinsured or uninsured driver.
