PowerMatch™, the most powerful matching and ranking software to date. All information that is entered by candidates and employers are used to quickly match a candidate to a specific position. There is no other site like NLHC.
How does the matching work?
PowerMatch™, the software that powers NLHC, is based on complex algorithms that find the highest percentage matches between candidate data and job opening data. Most of the matching occurs based on selected job skills, educational, and industry experience.
Candidates
Is the Navy League Hiring Center free for candidates?
Yes. This service is provided free of charge.
Can I change my profile information or is it a one-time application?
Once you create your profile, you can continue to update and change it. Don’t worry if you make a mistake. It can easily be fixed. Be sure to login to your profile often to make updates, run job searches, manage employer communication and catch up on the latest news!
How do I follow up with employers on this system?
Once you have created your candidate profile, the detailed information that you have supplied will provide the employers with the information they need. You do not need to do anything else except login to your NLHC homepage for updates.
I have experience in different industries (or different skill sets). How do I show that to the employer?
You can select skills from different jobs, different industries, and even multiple branches of the military! Your experience is varied and by selecting specific skills that you have acquired, the employers will see that.
Is my personal info distributed to anyone?

Is the Navy League Hiring Center free for employers?
No. Employers can purchase different products that aid in finding the right candidates for their organization.
I want to gain access to transitioning military personnel. How can I post a job or search for candidates on the Navy League Hiring Center?
While viewing the “Employer Home” section of the site, examine the menu of products offered to assist you in attracting the right employees. You can either try the site again in a few minutes, or contact our Customer Support representatives. If this happens, it will usually last no longer than a few minutes.
